Thomas Remmert

Thomas is the founder and principal of Kitnetic, bringing over 30 years of experience in the technology sector. For more than a decade, he has advised a diverse portfolio of clients across industries—delivering expert-led technology due diligence, strategic technology consultancy, and hands-on advisory services to support critical investment and operational decisions.

Thomas has personally led over 160 technical due diligence engagements across a wide range of sectors and geographies, with many more delivered under his direction. He also advises CEOs and CTOs at pivotal stages of their growth journey. In recent years, an increasing number of Kitnetic’s due diligence exercises and advisory projects have involved significant AI and machine learning components— equipping its customers with the clarity and confidence to navigate fast-evolving technology landscapes.

Thomas began his career as a software engineer and has remained deeply engaged with technology throughout, continually learning and applying new tools and languages. He has held senior roles—including CTO and ChiefArchitect—across a range of industries, leading distributed teams and delivering complex systems from SaaS platforms to ultra-high-throughput architectures. At Kitnetic, Thomas advises VC and PE firms on technical due diligence, and supports technology-driven SMEs with growth strategy, architectural design, team scaling, and diligence readiness.
