Thomas Remmert

Thomas is the founder and principal of Kitnetic and has over 25 years’ experience in the technology sector.  For the last 10 years Thomas has been advising an array of clients across numerous industries, conducting technology due diligence exercises and providing technology consultancy and advisory services.

Thomas started out his career as a software engineer and has always maintained a strong interest in engineering, continuing throughout to learn and use new technologies and programming languages.  As Thomas has always kept close to the engineering core of the industry, he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge and kept closely in touch with its evolution.

Thomas has held a series of CTO and Chief Architect Roles at companies across a variety of industries and in these roles has built and managed local, distributed and remote teams, and designed and engineered diverse complex software systems and cloud platforms ranging from small and medium-sized SAAS platforms to ultra-high throughput systems.

At Kitnetic Thomas’s clients range from Venture Capital and Private Equity houses for whom he carries out technical due diligence exercises and advisory services, to SME technology companies who he assists with technology growth, architectural design, optimising their technology functions, hiring key technology personnel and preparation for third party technical due diligence. To date Thomas has conducted over 150 due diligence exercises across numerous industries and jurisdictions and provided advice to CEOs and CTOs at various stages of their business.
